Our Admissions team makes the process of entering drug and alcohol treatment 100% hassle-free. From the initial assessment our professional staff is here to take the pressure off of you and your family. Let us walk you through the process with ease, dignity and respect.
Upon making the initial call, potential clients and their family members (if they wish to have them involved) will receive an appointment to meet face-to-face with one of our caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable admissions coordinators for a thorough evaluation in order to determine appropriateness for the services. After the assessment, a recommendation for the most appropriate level of drug and alcohol treatment will be determined and programming will begin.
Skyway House Residential Treatment Facilities admits adult men and women who suffer from alcohol and other drug abuse problems. Applicants must show a willingness to enter the facility and begin an orientation period that will be reviewed at the first staff meeting following their fourteenth day in the program. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to do the work required of them while participating in the treatment process.
Prioritized admission is based on the severity of the presenting problem as well as other environmental and social issues. The decision making responsibilities for entry and re-entry lie with the admissions coordinator in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services. Certain individuals seeking services may be found ineligible based on specific criminal offenses, communicable diseases or our inability to meet their needs due to certain issues including mental and/or physical limitations. No person, who, within the previous 24 hours, has consumed, used, or is still under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall be permitted on the premises.
Skyway House re-admits adult men and women who suffer from alcohol and other drug abuse problems after an unplanned discharge. Applicants must show a willingness to reenter the facility and begin a Blackout Period that may be 30 days in length. For re-admission to occur the following will apply:
-
- Individuals must have been out of facility for a minimum of 7 days unless it is determined the admission may happen sooner.
- Readmission is based on a decision of the Skyway House staff with input from the admissions office and Executive Director.
- An interview with applicant will be conducted with a Skyway House staff member.
- All requirements for admission must be met again.
- Admission and intake process may be repeated from beginning.
